LIQUID BODY IMMERSION - Coming home to the fluid Self.

A transformational in-person immersion (45 Continuing Education Credits with Yoga Alliance)

Lead by Tara Judelle

ABOUT THE IMMERSION

This immersion can be taken by itself and is also part of the 300h Advanced Embodied Flow Yoga & Somatics Training. Click here to learn more about the training.

The element of water is a dynamic, spiralic, sensuous creative force that describes not only our contents but our origins.  And while it comprises between 60-80% of our constitution,  we may completely overlook or neglect this transport, communication, elimination, and formation component of our own Self.

This Immersion is designed for those Embodied Flow™ practitioners who have either taken an immersion, studied with an Embodied Flow affiliated teacher, have some experience with the world of somatics,  or those advanced practitioners who wish to deepen and broaden the conversation of yoga by adding somatic components and inquiry into their existing practice.

The days are planned to further the experience of somatization, meditation, free movement, asana, and skillful flow among these four aspects of movement in the liquid body while weaving in the greater context within Tantric philosophy and yoga.

Immersions are intended to create a comprehensive dive into the landscape of Embodied Flow™,  using the tools of journaling, meditation, somatization, asana, and free movement.  Using the group's mind, this immersion seeks to create a unique expression of the material that will change and evolve as the group does.

Topics covered include but are not limited to:

  • Cellular Consciousness

  • Embryological pathways

  • Fluid systems

  • Fascial lines

  • Developmental pathways

  • Kinespheres

  • Dimensionality planes of motion

  • Tantric Philosophy

  • And the continuation of topics covered in Awakened Body Immersion

About the experience

An immersion is a co-creation between the facilitator and the participants with the intention to move the entire group mind deeper into conversation with the Self.  Experienced practitioners are invited to participate in revisiting material in the context of where they now sit in the conversation, and newer practitioners are invited to meet the experience where they are at.

IMMERSION CONTENT & SCHEDULE

Mornings will begin with meditation, breathwork, and self-inquiry, followed by a dynamic morning, asana/movement practice. In the afternoons we will play with somatic practices, self-inquiry, and self-expression, followed by an evening movement practice. Practices will be curated for the group.

Please find a sample schedule below and note this is to give you an indication only.

DAY 1: Moving into the Substratum of Cellular Experience
Enter the inner dynamic sea of intracellular and interstitial fluid.  As we enter into the fluid system we will learn cellular breathing, and find ways to use fluid basis to enter into the adaptable dynamic liquid ground.

DAY 2: Integrity and Permeability: Yielding
As we look at how the body creates boundaries and shapes we will explore membranes of the body from cells to fascia and how to play with their relational quality to space, gravity, and environment.

DAY 3: Embryological Pathways
Follow the pathways of our earliest structures the three derm layers that become our entire body-mind complex: ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm which become all the systems of our body.  Explore developmental patterns of movement that follow our evolutionary origins.

DAY 4: Resonance of the Fluid Systems
Discover the frequency, rhythm, and flow of different fluid systems: Arterial, venous, lymph, and interstitium.

DAY 5: Liquid Flow
Enter the slipstream of the tidal waves of cerebral spinal fluid as a portal to flow state

DAY 6: Intregration
