The Śiva Sutras are a collection of 77 aphorisms that comprise the basic understanding of the tradition of Kashmir Shaivism in the 9th century. Considered, perhaps the preeminate text on liberation, it continues to be a source of finding a way to unpack the reality of the awakened state. Because of it’s of its accessibility and relevance to leading an awakened life, the teaching of Kashmir Shaivism has continued to inspire and influence modern thinkers.
